Rocketman’s Taron Egerton looked to be taking some inspiration from Elton John as he rocked up to the star’s party for his AIDS foundation.
The 29-year-old, who recently had a blast at San Diego Comic Con as he formed a bromance with Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, looked dapper as anything as he rocked up to the party, joining stars like Joan Collins.
Taron looked completely content as he donned a blue blazer and Elton-style shades, posing with girlfriend Emily Thomas for the Midsummer party in Antibes, France.
The main man looked to be having a ball as he mingled with celeb friends, absolutely rocking a pink blazer, twinned with bejeweled glasses.
We stan.
Meanwhile, Laura Leito, Joan Collins, and Julian Lennon were also among the stars looking fabulous at the event.
The Elton John Foundation is a non-profit that supports innovative HIV prevention, education programs, and direct care.
Taron and Elton have formed a close friendship since the Kingsman star landed the role of the music icon in Rocketman – first getting pally in Cannes back in March.
In fact, Elton even gave the lad a spot of advice about singing his songs in the movie – no pressure, right?
It turned out to be a headscratcher, as the legendary singer apparently told Taron not to try to sound like him at all.
Taron told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘[Elton] said said not to try and sound like him, which is tough when you’re playing him.’
It might sound like pretty unhelpful advice, but maybe Elton was doing Taron a favour?
And the young actor’s been supporting his Rocketman pals in a big way after he shared the love for co-star Richard Madden recently.
Following the Game Of Thrones star landing a role in Marvel’s The Eternals, Taron revealed the moment he knew his bud ‘had superpowers’.
Taking to Instagram, the actor – who himself has been rebuffing claims he’s joining the Marvel universe as Wolverine – shared a celebratory selfie with his buddy during the swanky style soiree.
Both are dressed in the slick tuxes they wore at the Met Gala, as they excitedly beamed towards the camera, mouths agape.
‘This was the moment we found out my mate had superpowers,’ Taron wrote last night. ‘Proud. Love you mate.’
So sweet!
