Tammy Hembrow's ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins responds to Coachella incident

Footage of Tammy Hembrow passed out asleep at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California went viral on Monday.

And within hours of the video being circulated online, Tammy’s ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins shared a cryptic post to his Instagram Story that simply read: ‘Karma’.

The 23-year-old streetwear designer – who shares two children with Tammy, son Wolf and daughter Saskia – accompanied the text with an emoji of a man shrugging.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Reece Hawkins for comment. 

Reece recently said he is no longer on speaking terms with his ex after she allegedly had his Range Rover repossessed earlier this year.

He told Daily Mail Australia in March: ‘At the moment, there is no contact’.

Back in February, the exes were feuding over the vehicle on social media. 

‘Sadly, I lost my Range Rover yesterday,’ Reece said in a video shared to Instagram. ‘That got repossessed. [Tammy] decided that I didn’t need that.

‘I’ve tried my absolute hardest to get this resolved and everything signed so everyone could move on with their life happily, but sadly it didn’t go that way.’

Tammy later responded to these allegations, claiming that Reece had accrued  speeding fines and hadn’t paid his registration.

‘I’m not about to air my dirty laundry on social media,’ she said. ‘I don’t think it’s appropriate to talk about some things. I don’t want to put anyone in a negative light, especially the father of my kids.

‘But basically, in response to the car thing that he’s talking about, that’s not the full story. It’s not true at all. Just don’t believe what you see on social media, I guess.

‘If I’m letting someone use my Range Rover, they shouldn’t expect me to pay their speeding fines and registration. Simple as that.’

Over the weekend, confronting footage surfaced of Tammy passed out asleep at one of the world’s biggest parties: the Coachella music festival.

A video shared to Instagram by LA-based musician Mitch appears to show Tammy slumped over in a chair and snoring as she rests her head on her right knee.

The footage, which Mitch has since deleted, later went viral after it was reposted to the Brown Cardigan Instagram account on Monday morning.

The video was captioned: ‘Coachella was too lit for tamtam’. Daily Mail Australia has contacted Tammy’s spokeswoman for comment.

The footage emerged just days after Tammy spoke of her excitement at attending Coachella for the first time. 

On Friday, she also shared a lengthy text message her father Mark Hembrow had sent her, telling her to drink plenty of water at the festival.

While on her way to the event, a friend of Tammy’s revealed she was recovering from a broken ankle.

‘Tammy’s literally got a broken ankle, so she’s going to Coachella on crutches!’ the friend could be heard saying in a video posted to Instagram.

A few hours after the Coachella footage went viral, Tammy shared a photo of herself at the festival to Instagram, seemingly having recovered from her big night out.

She even joked about the embarrassing video in the comments section, replying to one follower: ‘[I’m] just living my best life. People need to chill.’

Several fans poked fun at her dishevelled state, with one person writing: ‘I don’t understand how something so cute and tiny can snore like my dad. That’s power.’

In response to this comment, Tammy wrote: ‘I snore so bad lol’.

It comes after Tammy was infamously stretchered out of Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party in West Hollywood in August last year.

The mother-of-two was pictured being wheeled out of the Delilah nightclub on Santa Monica Boulevard strapped face down on a gurney. 

She was loaded into the back of an ambulance and rushed to a nearby hospital.

Following the incident, Tammy returned to Australia and addressed what happened in an emotional YouTube video.

Wiping away tears, she revealed she felt ‘super embarrassed’ by her hospital dash and pleaded with trolls to stop ‘being nasty’.

‘So basically what happened was I was in LA, I was running off pretty much 30 hours of no sleep. I was struggling to stay awake even when I had my hair and makeup done… I could barely keep my eyes open.’
