It may not be even Christmas 2019 yet, but festival season 2020 is already creeping up on us.

The first names for All Points East have been confirmed, and Tame Impala will be headlining the London festival.

The Aussie band – best known for their hits Elephant and Let It Happen – will be playing their only UK show in 2020 at the Victoria Park festival on 23 May.

Tame Impala’s headline set will come after their new album The Slow Rush, which is set for release on Valentine’s Day.

Tame Impala will be joined at All Points East by Caribou, who has made his return to music after five years with his single Home.

Glass Animals, Whitney, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Kelly Lee Owens and Holy F*** are also early additions to the line-up.

All Points East is returning for its third year to East London after The Chemical Brothers, The Strokes and Christine And The Queens headlined the first weekend.

Bring Me The Horizon, Mumford and Sons and Bon Iver followed up the following weekend from 31 May to 2 June.

Its first year in 2018 was marked by headline sets from LCD Soundsystem, The XX, Bjork, Catfish and The Bottlemen, The National and Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.

All Points East will run from 22 May to 31 May 2020.

Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday 22 November, with general admission starting at £65 plus booking fee.
