The band will celebrate their 20th anniversary by airing their 2002 debut in its entirety

Taking Back Sunday will play their debut album ‘Tell All Your Friends’ in full on their upcoming UK and European tour.

The band are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and have confirmed more details of what fans can expect from the tour marking the occasion.

The dates will see the Long Island group perform two sets per night – one featuring the entirety of their 2002 debut and another comprised of songs from the rest of their career.

Taking Back Sunday will be supported by The Frights and ex-Thursday frontman Geoffrey Rickly in the UK. The band’s shows in Germany will see Rickly replaced by Bloodhype, while The Frights will be the sole support act in Amsterdam.

Meanwhile, frontman Adam Lazzara told NME earlier this year he would never write lyrics addressing the current political climate in the US. “I don’t think I’m educated enough about all of that to be given so much commentary on it,” he said. “And, at the end of the day, it’s really not all that important to me.”

He added he found the country’s government “extremely embarrassing” but he tried to “stay out of politics. “It’s one of the things you don’t talk about at dinner and so forth,” he said. “But that guy and what’s happening at home right now doesn’t represent me or really anyone that I know or have met.”
