The Good Morning Britain starlet, who sits alongside Piers Morgan on the hit ITV breakfast show, took to Twitter to share a throwback clip of her presenting the BBC News channel.
Looking unrecognisable, Susanna Reid sported a short dark haircut as she took on a much sterner role than GMB fans are used to seeing her in.
The clip, which was shot in 2000, sees the TV veteran present a segment about a demonstration by anti-capitalists in Parliament Square.
Writing to her millions of followers, Susanna said: “If I am not mistaken, this was my very first national news bulletin for BBC TV 20 years ago.”

Within minutes the post was flooded with shock responses from fans.
“Who’s this amazing woman?” one fan asked.
Another added: “You’ve got better with age.”

Meanwhile, a fourth exclaimed: “Bl**** hell. Is that really you?”
A fifth joked that it looked like the star had asked for a “short back and sides” during a trip to the barbers.
Over the past couple of weeks, Susanna has appeared more and more exasperated with her GMB co-host Piers Morgan after they repeatedly clashed over Meghan Markle.
Piers has seen red after the former actress shocked the world and withdrew from life as a front-line royal along with her husband Prince Harry.
However, keen to defend the American star, Susanna has regularly locked horns with him on live TV – demanding he takes a more compassionate line moving forward.
