Susanna Reid goes makeup-free ahead of GMB return after addressing Piers Morgan departure

The presenter, 48, whipped her 364,000 Instagram followers into a frenzy this evening ahead of going back to early starts following the Easter break. Susanna Reid, who will be back on screens with Good Morning Britain tomorrow, showcased her natural beauty in a fresh-faced picture, which saw her wearing a casual black denim shirt. Her brunette locks were left un-styled in a tousled mane of waves as she smiled for the camera. “BACK! she captioned the upload. “And in need of my glam squad!

“See you on @GMB tomorrow 6am.”

Susanna also added: “This is what happens when my hair dries naturally…”

Fans flooded to the comments section to compliment the ITV favourite, with one saying: “You’re gorgeous all the time.”

“Yep you look amazing with or without makeup,” another wrote, while a third chimed in: “You still look stunning Susanna.”

The post comes after the GMB star was asked about what would happen if Piers Morgan, 54, left the ITV show during an interview with British GQ earlier this month.

“There is only one Piers Morgan,” she replied. “But no one is completely irreplaceable, no matter who they are.”

The pair look settled in their roles on GMB, with no suggestion either of the hosts are set to depart any time soon.

Tomorrow morning, both Piers and Susanna will be back on presenting duties after enjoying some hard-earned time off over the Easter holiday.

Meanwhile, the latter opened up about working with her notoriously controversial colleague, telling the publication he makes her “really mad”.

“He’s pushed me to get more opinionated,” she explained. “Critics say I take the opposite side just to wind him up.

“It’s not true. I take the opposite side because I don’t agree.

“I also feel a responsibility to speak out for those who aren’t in the studio to defend themselves against his obnoxious rants,” she continued.

“I don’t agree he should be left to chew these people up and spit them out like one of his rare steaks.

“Piers too needs to be held to account for what he says,” she added.
