Susanna Reid: GMB host puts on a cosy display with boyfriend Steve Parish at the football

Susanna Reid, 48, sat beside her other half Steve Parish, 53, to watch Crystal Palace play against Everton yesterday afternoon. The Good Morning Britain star regularly appears at Selhurst Park to support the team, which is part-owned by her businessman beau. Susanna leaned towards her partner for an intimate chat in the director’s box, as he adoringly gazed at the presenter and appeared to listen intently. The well-dressed ITV favourite covered her eyes with a pair of stylish oversized shades, while wearing her brunette locks in loose waves.

She also protected herself against the cold in a chic camel coloured coat, which highlighted her curves with a matching fabric belt.

Susanna completed the look with a sleek pair of black trousers and heeled boots.

Steve complemented his girlfriend’s smart ensemble as he opted for a tailored navy blue suit paired with a pastel blue checkered shirt and coordinating tie for the outing.

The couple first met last year in New York, and have been dating ever since.

Susanna was previously married to journalist Dominic Cotton, 51, who she was in a relationship with since 1998.

The pair divorced in 2014, following the GMB host’s stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

After the split, she became a single mother to their sons Sam, 16, Finn, 14, and Jack, 13.

Elsewhere, Susanna recently opened up about a surprising moment in her love life before meeting Steve.

The star revealed that she was once “stood up for a date” by an undisclosed man because she didn’t drink.

Her admission took place during a conversation with The Sunday Times Style in a segment entitled My Sober Diaries.

Susanna, who gave up booze over six months ago, said: “What I do miss is the socialising. Alcohol brings you together with people to mark occasions. It’s a social binder.

“It’s part of our culture and our lives. Not drinking can seem to some like a form of dull piety or deliberate sabotage.

“I’ve been to birthday lunches where the host feels insulted you’re not drinking champagne to celebrate her big day.”

She then continued to discuss how her decision to quit drinking impacted a potential romance, adding: “I got stood up for a date because the guy discovered I don’t drink.”

Susanna also shared what GMB co-host Piers Morgan thinks about her sobriety.

She explained to the publication: “I know that my drinking buddy Piers Morgan thinks I’ve become the world’s biggest bore since I no longer want to stay up into the small hours fuelled by shots.”

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am on ITV
