Susan Boyle could see her name in bright lights this winter with reports that the singer is in talks for a Las Vegas residency.

The former Britain’s Got Talent star is said to be plotting her big musical comeback after spending the past year self-isolating in her native Scotland during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to sources, Su-Bo is itching to get back on-stage and has reportedly been approached about launching a string of shows in Sin City.

‘Susan is really excited to be asked and she is hoping to head over to the US in November to perform if she can,’ an insider told The Sun On Sunday

‘She has been holed up in Scotland during the pandemic but she is desperate to get back out there singing again. She loves working – and she could definitely be tempted by some sequins.’

BGT boss Simon Cowell is said to have agreed a lucrative deal with Luxor Hotel for America’s Got Talent acts to perform. Susan appeared in the 2019 series America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which saw memorable acts from the various editions of the franchise compete again.

It comes after Susan, 60, admitted she has no plans on retiring anytime soon and is keen to keep going.

In a recent interview, the singer said: ‘Look at one of my idols, Elaine Paige. She’s 73 and still performing. I love what I do and want to keep doing it – so long as the public enjoys it. I’m going to hang on for dear life to what I do.’

Explaining how she’s been keeping during the lockdown, Susa added: ‘I’ve not been able to do too much. But that will change later. I’m always an optimist. It’s been tough going.

‘I’ve had days when I’ve felt low or stuck in a rut, or bored of staring at the same four walls. But everyone’s been in the same boat.’

Fans will get to see Susan a lot sooner than November as she just confirmed a virtual interview with TV presenter Gloria Hunniford.

An announcement shared on social media said: ‘Join Susan Boyle & esteemed broadcast & radio presenter Gloria Hunniford OBE for a very special evening on Thursday, 1st of July, 2021.

‘An intimate, rare & virtual interview. All proceeds from ticket sales will be going to @BritishRedCross.’

Susan released her last studio album, A Wonderful World, in 2016 while also dropping a compilation, Ten, in 2019 to celebrate 10 years since she rose to fame on BGT.
