Super Bowl fans 'in tears' over Demi Lovato's national anthem rendition


Super Ball fans were left feeling emotional after Demi Lovato took to the pitch to perform the national anthem.

The singer, 27, belted out a rendition of Star-Spangled Banner anthem ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs vs San Fransisco 49ers NFL showdown.

Demi’s performance got the crowd singing along and the audience at home grabbing for their tissues.

All eyes were on the former Camp Rock star as she took centre stage in the middle of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Demi’s opted to wear a white power suit with her hair in lose waves hanging around her shoulders.

Her vocals impressed fans who later rushed to their keyboards to admit that Demi’s vocal hit them in the feels.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “I got tears. Well done Demi.”

Another added: “So Demi’s performance left me in tears.”

A third gushed: “Get job Demi. I am crying.”

A fourth said: “Demi, you brought me tears.”

Demi’s Super Bowl LIV appearance comes just one week after she was performed her newest track Anyone at the Grammy Awards in Los Angles.

The song was written by the Complicated hitmaker just before her drug overdose in 2018.

Demi was forced to restart her performance last week but eventually went on to show off her stunning voice.

Demi has now joined a long list of iconic stars who have sung the national anthem at the annual Super Bowl sporting event.

The star-studded list includes Idina Menzel, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira host the halftime show which is set to feature a selection of the pair’s classic hits.
