A woman feels like the third wheel between her husband and cat.

Nasrin Hami from Thailand has had to watch from the sidelines as her husband Anatchai is constantly doted on by their cat Jarvis.

The Scottish fold cat can’t get enough of Anatchai, 32, and is pretty possessive over him, meaning Nasrin can barely get in on kisses, cuddles, hand-holding, or even chilling on the sofa with her husband.

Nasrin, 28, jokes that six-year-old Jarvis has stolen her husband and has no intention of returning him.

The adorable kitty is often perched on Anatchai’s lap, fussing over him, and asking for head rubs and kisses.

After sharing images and videos of Jarvis vying for Anatchai’s attention, holding his hand, and demanding his head be patted, Nasrin’s posts went viral.

To make matters even funnier, Jarvis is usually scowling at the camera, or rather photographer Nasrin, who is barely seen in pictures of the BFFs.

We’re pretty sure we haven’t seen a cat more affectionate than Jarvis.

Despite having a third wheel in the marriage, Nasrin still loves Jarvis plenty.

She tells Metro.co.uk: ‘Jarvis is a good cat. He only eats cat food and he’s never, ever tried human food. Not even fish!

‘Jarvis likes to sleep and see birds out of the window and play with my husband.

‘The cat spends a lot of his time snuggling up to my husband, laying on top of him, cuddling him, and doing whatever he can to be as close to him as possible.

‘Whenever my husband sits down to eat, Jarvis will cosy up to him and lay a paw on him, showing not just ownership but also affection.’

Nasrin says that although he is more affectionate towards Anatchai, Jarvis does also have his moments with her (though there is no picture evidence).

‘Jarvis is always loving and affectionate with my husband,’ she says. ‘And he acts the same way with me and is friendly with everyone who visits our home.

‘Jarvis also follows me whenever I go into the kitchen and prepare the food.’

After the virality, many people thought Jarvis was a female cat but Nasrin confirmed that he is a male who has been in the family for a long time.

She says that his breed makes him a brilliant and loving cat.

‘Scottish fold cats are great household pets to have,’ she adds.

‘They’re very good-natured and get along with any other pets you might have extremely well.

‘They also get very attached to their owners and are very affectionate and playful.’

Just don’t let them run away with your partner.
