The Channel Seven presenter, who is four months along, placed a hand on her stomach in the photos.

In the accompanying interview, she spoke to WHO about how pregnancy has changed her body.

Edwina joked that while some people, like Jennifer Hawkins, manage to stay slim while they bump grows, her experience has been different.

She said: ‘Jennifer Hawkins announced that she was pregnant around the same time [as me], and I was like, “That’s unfortunate because you’re just going in one direction and I’m going in five directions!”‘

‘You come to realise everyone’s pregnancy is different,’ Edwina added.

‘I’m guessing [Jennifer] doesn’t have the same addiction to corn chips early on as I did! It’s super weird, like my boobs got bigger and my thighs.’

Jennifer announced her pregnancy in May, just weeks before Edwina revealed she was also expecting her first child.

Edwina began showing early on in her pregnancy and was forced to make the announcement at 12 weeks.

She told WHO that she and her husband Neil Varcoe were trying to conceive for six months before she got pregnant.

‘It completely sapped the romance out of getting pregnant. But you know, I’m 35 – time’s ticking,’ she said.

‘We had all the fertility tests and I did have a test that showed I had a genetic predisposition to low fertility.’

Last month, Edwina announced her pregnancy news live on Sunrise.

‘We’re having a baby, due in December,’ she told her colleagues.

‘We’re super stoked and our family is really excited. Mum has been bursting at the seams to tell everyone – so mum, you can tell everyone!’

She explained that Sunrise co-host Samantha Armytage already knew about the pregnancy, and fellow reporter Natalie Barr had guessed it due to her odd cravings.

David Koch was visibly delighted by Edwina’s announcement, giving her a big hug and saying: ‘How exciting! I love a baby!’

The mother-to-be also shared a sonogram photo with Sunrise viewers, adding that she is yet to find out if she’s having a boy or a girl.

Edwina and media executive Neil first met as colleagues at radio station 2GB, and had been together for six years when Neil proposed in April 2017.
