Style notes: the Insta blouse the ES Magazine fashion team is loving this week

Three’s a trend: hot pots

Ceramics are the new black, according to a select group of fashion and jewellery designers who have turned their creative skills to the pottery wheel this season.

Add to basket: the Insta blouse

The blouse has shrugged off its lightweight reputation to become a serious wardrobe must-have, complete with its own Insta crop (below the chin, above the thighs).

If yours look like you’ve truffled them out at a French flea market, then you’re on the right track: think light cottons, puff sleeves and vintage floral prints. Net-A-Porter’s new brand Dôen ticks the boxes.

Punk it UP

Poly Styrene, the singer in Seventies punk band X-Ray Spex, is the inspiration behind these slogan knits by Brit brand Hades. It’s the first of three collections with a musical bent, with every piece handmade from lambswool in Hawick, Scotland.

Love me true

Lulu Guinness’s new Love Letter bag and wallet collection celebrates the (almost lost) art of putting pen to paper. The best bit? Thirty per cent of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer Now. From £165 (luluguinness.com)

The right flavour

Dorito-shaped sunglasses are the style for summer (you heard it here first). Think of the wonky triangle as the new cat-eye (it’s just as flattering on every face shape). Sportmax’s new lenses should be your first port of call.
