The campaign, entitled ‘Your world. Your win,’ is said to represent ‘new brand positioning’ in esports for STS, according to a release. This will see a mix of both digital and physical advertising, with an array of offerings for fans designed specifically for IEM Katowice.

STS will also leverage professional players and influencers such as Polish CS:GO player Wiktor ‘TaZ’ Wojtas and former shoutcaster Henry ‘HenryG Greer.

STS Marketing Director Paweł Rabantek commented in a release: “As the leader in the Polish bookmaking market, STS has been investing heavily in esports for years. By launching the campaign during the IEM we can show how important the event is to Polish fans and the brand itself. We wanted to make sure that we could feel the atmosphere of esports in Katowice, even though the tournament is held without an audience.”

The bookmaker has been actively involved in professional gaming for several years, sponsoring several organisations and players in addition to the esports offerings on its platform. This includes sponsorship agreements with Polish esports teams such as x-kom AGO and devils.one, as well as Polish CS:GO player Paweł ‘innocent’ Mocek.

STS supports wagering on a variety of esports titles, including League of Legends, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Dota 2, and StarCraft 2.

Esports Insider says: The decision to launch an esports-dedicated campaign around IEM Katowice, one of the most notable competitions in the space, shows a strong commitment from STS to the sector. Poland is a budding hot spot for competitive gaming with a passionate fanbase behind it, as such we expect to see this trend of respectable bookmakers getting involved in esports to continue since those in charge see the volume and intensity of fans.
