Strictly's Tess Daly forced to apologise over awkward technical issues

Strictly Come Dancing didn’t start in the most smoothest fashion tonight.

Show host Tess Daly was forced to apologise at the start of the BBC show over show technical issues.

The apology from Tess came after the first Strictly dance – performed by AJ Pritchard and Saffron Barker.

Tess told viewers: “Sorry for viewers suffered any transmission problems.

“We are a live show.”

BBC viewers were talking about the issues online.

One tweeted: “Is it my telly or did everyone else lose transmission for a bit then?”

While another added: “Nearly had a heart attack until I realised everyone is losing transmission, not just me.”

A third asked: “Is anybody else having transmission problems?”

While a fourth moaned: “Now she tells us it’s a transmission problem. I’ve been hitting the telly.”

More to follow.
