STRICTLY Come Dancing star Michelle Visage has revealed she battled an eating disorder for 20 years.
The Ru Paul’s Drag Race judge, 50, and would hide food in her cheeks as a child before running to the bathroom to purge.

“Dinnertime suddenly involved about two trips to the loo,” she writes in her book Michelle Visage: The Diva Rules, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
“I couldn’t handle puking – bulimia in the traditional way wasn’t for me.
“I thought that by taking laxatives the calories would be flushed out.”
Later in her life when Michelle was on the road as a dancer, she used laxatives to keep her weight down.

“I was relying on my body for happiness,” she said.
“Your body is not your happiness. Even if you lose those last five pounds, all the things in your life that suck will suck after you do.”
She added: “Now, I listen to my body, I feel a million times healthier and much more confident in my skin.”

A source told The Sun Online: “Michelle really wanted to make it to the launch, but sadly a clash of filming commitments meant she is still back in America and couldn’t get back to the UK in time. She’ll be missed.”
Earlier this week, we reported Michelle was forced to miss the Strictly Come Dancing launch.
She was still in the States filming for another project and was the only star not to appear.
