Karim Zeroual’s powers of persuasion must be strong after he reunited with his ex.
The Strictly Come Dancing star had been waltzed out of his relationship with childhood sweetheart Poppy Birtwistle, after it was reported he had been sending explicit text messages to another woman.
He was with University of Manchester student Poppy since 2016 and the CBBC star has worked hard to repair the damage of the revelations and has reportedly jetted off for a ‘make-or-break’ holiday with Poppy.
The 26-year-old was jettisoned by Poppy in December as his time on BBC’s Strictly came to an end after it was reported that he had been sending raunchy text messages to office worker Rebecca Perrins for over a year and a half.
Rebbecca told the newspaper the TV star had started talking to her over Instagram in April 2018 and they’d swapped “hundreds of really flirty messages”.
One such message reportedly said: “F*** I want you do you know how long I’ve wanted you for!”
A second reportedly said: “I’m gonna be all over you.”
Since then, Karim has been looking to make amends to Poppy and a source has told The Sun that they have gone some way to making up again after he took her to a luxury resort in Dubai for Valentine’s Day.
Poppy was reportedly “devastated” by the messages that Karim had been sending but has “worked hard on winning her over.”
The source said: “He spent weeks sweet-talking her and eventually Poppy forgave him. She loves him and they have so much history.”
The source continued to reveal: “They went on a make-or-break holiday and that was the moment they decided to officially make a go of it again. Karim made a foolish mistake and he’s learned from it.”
Karim had booked them into the Five Palm Jumeirah hotel and the pair shared their experience on Instagram , though they kept themselves out of each other’s photos so as to not share that they had got back together again.
