Strictly's Claudia Winkleman makes brutal jibe at Karim Zeroual as he wipes away tears


Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman made a savage remark to CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual after he was reduced to tears.

Karim, 25, was devastated after judge Craig Revel-Horwood pointed out he made three major mistakes during tonight’s performance.

Claudia was talking to Michelle Visage about going to Blackpool to try some of their signature rock following Karim’s dance.

She then turned to Karim who was still wiping away tears and said:”Are you alright?

“We’ll also have Blackpool rock, but if you’re not there we’ll bring some back.”

Viewers couldn’t believe Claudia’s savage comment.

One said: “Cannot believe Claudia just said that to Karim??? Bit harsh like.”

While another wrote: “Ouch! Claudia that was brutal!”

“F***ing hell Claudia he’s crying! That’s a bit harsh” said a third.

Claudia made the savage swipe after Karim was disappointed with his dance tonight.

He seemed deflated after getting criticised by the judges.

The media personality performed a Viennese Waltz alongside his partner Amy Dowden, who also cried when she saw Karim so upset.

She’s keen for the couple to make it to Blackpool as she’s never managed to get that far in the dancing competition.

Despite some viewers thinking Claudia’s swipe at Karim was harsh, others found it hilarious.

One said: “Claudia just won this week’s Strictly with that line” with two laughing face emojis.

While another wrote: “Harsh, but hilarious Claudia” with four laughing faces.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow at 7.20pm with the results show
