Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher was furious on a shopping trip to discover lockdown 2.0 had induced a second round of loo roll stockpiling.

Just two days after Boris Johnson announced plans for England to go back into lockdown to reduce the spread of coronavirus, the Emmerdale actor posted a picture of three barren supermarket shelves at the store, seemingly wiped clean of any toilet tissue.

‘WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?’ he demanded in the caption.

‘Stop the bus, I want to get off.’

Fans chimed in to echo Kelvin’s dismay.

‘What is wrong with people?’ one person wrote. ‘Take a moment and think of the key workers and elderly who can’t just go to the shops. They need toilet roll too. So selfish.’

Kelvin’s Emmerdale co-star Adam Thomas tried to lighten the mood, joking: ‘They had a good offer on man, give me a break.’

This isn’t the first time soap star and race car driver Kevin has shared his frustration with the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

On Halloween, Kelvin retweeted a post from Anxiety UK about its free ‘coronanxiety’ resources after Boris Johnson announced new, strict measures across the country.

Kelvin tweeted: ‘I’m struggling to take much more of this if I’m honest. It simply just doesn’t add up.

‘For those in need, hopefully this will offer you some refuge too.’

Kelvin wasn’t the only speedster to take issue with panic buying Britons. His fellow race car driver Josh Webster also took to Twitter to chastise selfish shoppers.

He wrote: ‘Do you think the people that hog middle/outside lanes of motorways are the same ones that are buying all the loo roll and pasta? Morons.’

Kelvin is set to star alongside Jason Manford in the upcoming series of Death in Paradise. His co-star shared a cheeky video from their Guadeloupe set in September.

And while it’s clear Kelvin has had a difficult year with the pandemic, there has been one bright development in the Fletcher family.

Kelvin, 36, wife Liz and daughter Marnie, 3, welcomed a new addition to the family in October—an absolutely adorable cockapoo puppy.
