Strictly Come Dancing star Catherine Tyldesley looked in good shape as she continued rehearsals for the new series.

The actress beamed as she made her way into training, where professional partner Johannes Radebe was ready to put her through her paces.

The ex Coronation Street star had her priorities in order as she stopped off at Nandos on the way to pick up some food.

The 36-year-old looked sporty in all black athleisure gear, teamed with a leopard scarf and a leather jacket.

It comes after the soap star struggled with motion sickness during their Viennese Waltz to I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher.

As dancers and fans of the show will know, the Viennese Waltz involves a lot of elegant spins which became a bit too much for Catherine.

She previously admitted that she had to take anti-sickness tablets in training.

Praising her ‘phenomenal’ partner, she said: ‘I’m extremely nervous and I’m doing the Viennese waltz which makes me feel very sick. I’m actually taking anti-sickness tablets because of the spinning!

‘I’m really glad you can’t get voted out on week one because it’s so difficult, but I am just having the best time.’

Catherine and Johannes scored 20 points out of 40 for their dance, and she will no doubt be looking to improve on that this weekend.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli, felt the Scarborough star had ‘great potential’ to go far in the competition.

Motsi said: ‘You two are just a beautiful tall elegant couple, and you managed to create an atmosphere for further cases when you dance ballroom just to stay in his right shoulder and that smooths everything out.’

The week two dances have been revealed as the celebs take to the floor again before one couple gets the chop.

The soap star will be taking to the floor to perform something more upbeat than last week – a Samba to Let The Groove Get In by Justin Timberlake.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One.
