During an appearance on It Takes Two, Michelle told host Zoe Ball: “I could be more confident, this one is ok but it’s not sticking [in my head] because it’s fast.
“This is harder because I’m on my own, I’m on my own!”
She clarified: “For 80 per cent of the dance I’m by myself.”
But Giovanni stepped in to explain he “trusts” his partner to be left alone.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday on BBC One at 6.40pm while It Takes Two airs weeknights on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
