Strictly 2019: ‘We don’t talk about it’ Catherine Tyldesley discusses Shirley criticism

Strictly Come Dancing fans were thrilled by Catherine Tyldesley and Johannes Radebe’s Tango in Week Five. They performed extremely well, getting 28 for their routine.

However, Shirley Ballas was a little concerned with Catherine’s footwork.

The head judge thought they were too close together and they should have been angled outwards some more.

Catherine and Johannes appeared on It Takes Two this evening and the host, Rylan Clark Neal, was keen to get to the bottom of the criticism.

Rylan questioned the pair on what they made of the tough critiques.

In light of Halloween week, the pair will dance a Cha Cha Cha to Steps’ song, Scared Of The Dark.

They will no doubt be hoping to improve on their middle leaderboard position from last week.

Meanwhile a sickness bug has been sweeping through the Strictly Come Dancing cast, leaving their performances in danger.

Catherine told the Daily Star she was “not feeling great”, adding how she was “very tired”.
