Strictly 2019: 'It screamed Paso!' Pro hits back at Shirley Ballas' criticism of Karim

“I feel it lacked in light and shade and I feel it missed the mark for a Paso Doble and let me explain to you why; because there is absolute strength in sound of silence and when you take a movement and you grow and then you go forward.

“For me it was a very continuous dance and almost gave me the feeling of running.

“For me it needed to be tighter and calmer,” the head judge commented.

Amy replied to the judges feedback and said to Claudia Winkleman: “It’s not his fault when it comes to choreography that’s our professional job, maybe I went so in-depth?

“Stranger Things is also about running away, for me you did everything I asked for on the choreography I asked for.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday night on BBC One.
