The couple split up four moths ago, with rumours soon swirling that the Crown rapper had possibly cheated on the presenter.
In Lessons, Stormzy put his hands up about not acting right towards the end of their relationship but fails to explicitly say he was unfaithful.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “Stormzy’s never spoken out about his split from Maya but it really hit him hard.
“They were very close and lived together, there was so much history.”

On August 21, it was revealed that Maya Jama and Stormzy had called it quits, with the TV presenter wasting no time in having her belongings removed from the home she shared with her former beau.
Fans were stunned by the news since it was just a few days prior when Stormzy had attended Maya’s 25th birthday bash at Night Tales bar in Hackney, East London.
A source close to the TV presenter shared: “Maya has moved out of their home in South West London.
“The decision isn’t one she has come to lightly, but ultimately the relationship has come to an end. She wants to focus on her TV and radio career for now.”
