Stormzy recently crowned himself victorious in his epic feud with Wiley, so it’s no surprise that he’s turned down the chance to spar with his rival in a grime clash.

Earlier this month, the grime icons traded scathing words on brutal diss tracks such as Stormzy’s Disappointed and Wiley’s Eediyat Skengman (Stormzy Send) after months of mounting tension. Even Ed Sheeran and their own mothers were dragged into the beef.

But just when fans thought it was over, Wiley sent a call to his rival to thrash it out in a verbal clash at London’s O2 Arena.

In a now deleted tweets, the 41-year-old wrote: ‘@stormzy The industry is not designed to benefit us in the end step away now and clash me @TheO2 and you will forever be #BigMike stay with them and you end up like the obvious.

‘Furthermore @stormzy Get me on that world tour let’s spice it up a bit.’

He then added: ‘@stormzy Let’s Go o2 ting PPV ting,’ in reference to pay-per-view fights. Although, he didn’t specify boxing so it could easily have been wrestling or simply a dub clash that was on his mind.

But Stormzy didn’t waste any time in shutting it down and replied rather politely: ‘No thanks.’

At least he still has manners.

Perhaps Wiley was inspired by the recent success of KSI and Logan Paul who attracted millions of viewers with their first boxing bout and the rematch, while even hosting the fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Wiley’s offer comes just days after Stormzy confidently declared himself winner of the feud.

While speaking to Ebro Darden on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Stormzy said: ‘It’s done. We had the exchange.

‘My last stop, I said 24 hours to reply, posted the video and then I was doing a signing and went to go smoke a cigarette and check the time. I was like, “all right, cool. We just got about 10 minutes left”. Nothing happened.’

The Big For Your Boots rapper continued: The next day or something, he dropped it. I heard it and it was like, “Okay, like we’re going to leave it here.” The album went number one the day after. There were celebrations for that.’

Like a true champion, Stormzy then not-so-modestly stated: ‘Now I’m thinking, “It was a quick, easy victory”. I big up Wiley for [the fight] all day long. He’s got a duty to protect his genre.’
