In an exclusive the Mirror revealed that last year, Stephen was one of the highest-paid TV presenters.
The Mirror revealed that in a 12-month period that ended in February 2019, the presenter earned £3,051,682, which was £2.2m more than he earnt the previous year.
The increase in his pay is reported to have been caused by presenting Catchphrase, Big Star’s Little Star and In for a Penny.
With his return to Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Stephen’s earnings are set to increase further this year.
