Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: Release date, features and gameplay news

During EA’s E3 press conference we had a brief teaser from the CEO of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella about their brand new Star Wars title, Jedi Fallen Order.

While details are still very scarce we do have some solid information to give you. EA has also confirmed that the grand reveal of the upcoming Star Wars game will take place at the annual Star Wars Celebration event in Chicago on 13 April. We’ve got all the details about the Fallen Order reveal livestream here, for all those interested in tuning in live.

When will Jedi: Fallen Order be released?

The title is currently due for a holiday 2019 release, so Q4 2019.

Who is making Jedi: Fallen Order?

Respawn Entertainment, the studio that brought us Titanfall 1 and 2, have been announced as the studio behind Jedi: Fallen Order.

This is a fantastic choice for the title as Respawn excels in making engaging, fast-paced single player games. Titanfall 2 has some incredible moments, both mechanically and narratively, so we’re super hyped for what they can do with the Star Wars universe.

What will the gameplay be like Jedi: Fallen Order?

Jedi: Fallen Order will be a single player game focused around playing a young padawan Jedi in the ‘dark times’ after Revenge of the Sith, when the Jedi order is being hunted down.

Expect lightsabers and force powers as you Jedi your way to victory through a single-player story.

I think we’re all in, aren’t we?
