Just four months to go until the Skywalker saga comes to an epic end. After forty years and nine main movies, countless books, comics, TV spin-offs and two Anthology movies the greatest saga in cinema history will reach its climax. Fans are scouring every trailer, magazine article and teaser for clues as to what comes next. One has taken all the existing footage and reassembled it into a complete single video with remarkable skill. Get ready for goosebumps.
Youtube fan Nathan Rojas has taken all the material from the first teaser trailer and all the clips shown at the recent D23 Disney Expo.
Rather than just run them one after another, he has painstakingly edited and inserted all the various scenes to create a fantastic single trailer.
Seeing everything together like this isn’t just spectacular, it allows us to start imagining where the story will go.
STAR WARS 9: HORRIFYING CLUES THAT PALPATINE WAS THERE IN CHILLING LAST JEDI SCENE
It is no surprise it all starts and ends with Rey.
The opening bright scenes with the speeder chase across the desert and flashing light blue lightsaber contrast dramatically with the dark and tortured final shot of Rey in a cave wielding a double-ended Sith red lightsaber.
Not to mention the shock of seeing C-3PO’s eyes blaze bright red.
Of course, this is not an official longer trailer.
Fans will most likely have to wait until October for the main full-length trailer. Traditionally, following the pattern of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, there will only be one full trailer followed by various TV spots and international variations.
