(Reuters) – Staffline Group on Thursday said it has been investigating the company’s financial statements after its auditors received an anonymous email in January, which made certain allegations related to its payroll and how it recorded invoices.
The British recruiter said the email was sent a day before it was set to report results on Jan. 30. It then started an investigation and review, which also delayed its results.
Separately, Staffline also said Chairman John Crabtree will be stepping down.
