Stacey Solomon sings to her vegetables and dances with cabbage in her kitchen

Stacey Solomon left her fans in stitches last night as she danced around her kitchen with a load of root vegetables while preparing dinner for her three boys.

The Loose Women star, 30, took to her Instagram Story to entertain her fans as she mimed along to Wilson Phillips’ smash hit Hold On while chopping up her veggies.

“Joe’s out with his mates… boys are on the Playstation, Rex is behind next to me playing with a saucepan… I’m singing Wilson Phillips to my carrot. Happy Friday…” she told her followers.

“I really mean every word I’m saying to my veg… Don’t EVER let anyone step all over you. Even if you are a cabbage.”

Stacey Solomon sang to her carrot as she peeled it aggressively

She then filmed herself tossing her hair and dramatically spinning around her kitchen along to the power ballad while warning fans not to copy her knife skills.

“Cut myself off sorry it only lets me record 4 stories at a time. Happy FRI-YAY we made it to the weekend! Love you all to the moon and back,” she added afterwards.

Stacey was then asked what she was making with her mountain of veg, and she sheepishly returned to the app to reveal what the boys were having for dinner.

“Lots of you wondering what I was making with all that random veg… well here it is, basically everything I had left in the fridge and freezer,” she admitted.

“It’s Friday so it’s use up the mouldy veg day.”

Laughing, she showed off the tea to the camera.

“Chicken nuggets with a side of broccoli, cabbage, carrots and corn. It’s all I’ve got left!

“Happy Friday?” she joked.

It comes amid rumours Stacey is gearing up to become a home-based influencer after making friends with Instagram sensation Mrs Hinch.

She’s also trademarked “My Little Pickle” – a nickname she calls her one-year-old son Rex.

After Stacey signed a book deal, it seems as though she’s ready for the next step of her career.

A source told New mag: “Stacey is very keen to do lots in the cleaning influencer field.”

The source added: “She could bring out her new books and range of cleaning products and supplies if she wants to. She’s love her own show, too, where she goes around sorting people’s homes.

“Stacey knows she needs a long-term plan and thinks becoming a cleaning influencer will give her longevity and open doors to more TV work.”
