Stacey Solomon shares poignant Instagram post about Caroline Flack and Joe Swash

Proud Stacey Solomon has shared her poignant thoughts about the death of pal Caroline Flack.

TV presenter Swash and Flack worked together on the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here spin-off show.

While watching her partner skate on Dancing on Ice tonight she took to her official Instagram account to share a heart-wrenching message with her 2.8million followers.

She posted: “Love is everything. We are so proud of you.

“There is nothing worse than seeing you in pain, but nothing that fills our hearts more than seeing the joy you get from being a daddy and a role model.

“An incredible one at that. In this moment in time, all we can do is be kind.

“And remember that there is a human in every picture, behind every story, every post, every headline, and every tv screen, a real person, taking it all in, the good and the bad.

“There is no such thing as the perfect human. Having Empathy and kindness is all we can truly strive towards.”

She then carried on by sharing Caroline Flack’s quote, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”.

Stacey continued: “RIP We are so sorry, It should never have been this way.”

Straight away people echoed Stacey’s thoughts.

One wrote underneath: “Joe did so well. What a lovely photo.”

A second commented: “He did amazingly considering bless him,” followed by the love heart emoji.

Another wrote: “Kindness is the greatest gift a human can give to another human being.”

Stacey was fighting back tears as Joe paid an emotional tribute to pal Caroline on tonight’s Dancing on Ice.

Following his routine tonight, host Philip Schofield congratulated Joe, 38, and said: “Well done Joe, well done tough night I know. It’s been a really tough day.”

In support of his partner, professional dancer Alex Murphy told his pal: “It was really hard tonight to do a happy routine after a tough day, so I’m really proud of him.”

The camera then cut to an emotional Stacey Solomon who fights back tears as Joe says: “I just want to send my love to her family and my condolences you know.”

Former Love Island host Caroline Flack, 40, was found dead in her east London home after taking her own life.

In an emotional tribute to pal Caroline, her former I’m A Celebrity co-star Joe shared a video to Instagram.

Fighting back tears, the former EastEnders actor said: “I want to send a message to everyone and let everyone know that Caroline Flack was the most amazing person you could ever come across.

“She was funny, super talented, and she had the most infectious laugh.”

A heartbroken Joe continued: “I wish that she could have asked for help because there’s so many people that love her and I am going to miss her so much.

“We can’t let this happen, we can’t let this happen to anyone else.”

Caroline became the face of Love Island when she started hosting Love Island Aftersun in 2015.

She was replaced by Laura Whitmore who is hosting this year’s winter edition in South Africa after Caroline was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, in December last year.

ITV decided to cancel tonight’s episode of the show in an effort to pay respect to Caroline and her family.

In a statement, an ITV spokesperson said: “Many people at ITV knew Caroline well and held her in great affection. All of us are absolutely devastated at this tragic news.

“After careful consultation between Caroline’s representatives and the Love Island production team and given how close we still are to the news of Caroline’s tragic death we have decided not to broadcast tonight’s Love Island out of respect for Caroline’s family.

“Love Island will return tomorrow night which will include a tribute to Caroline who will be forever in our hearts.”
