Stacey Solomon shares intimate photos of herself in labour with baby Rex

Stacey Solomon kept her fans updated as she readjusted to life as a new mum after her third son Rex arrived earlier this year.

But now the Loose Women panelist, 30, has gone one step further and shared a string of pictures of herself in labour.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the mum-of-three posted pictures and videos from her hospital bed when Rex was on his way and the first few moments of his life, including when she cut his umbilical cord and one of his first nappy changes.

Stacey had shared them to celebrate the launch of her new podcast, which is all about motherhood.

Boyfriend Joe Swash was there to hold her hand

In the first picture she sat on the edge of the bed while being supported through her contractions by boyfriend and babydaddy Joe Swash.

She’d put a giant heart emoji over the picture to cover up her privates while she gave birth.

The next post was a video of a clearly overwhelmed Stacey with a crying Rex on her chest.

A midwife hands her some scissors so she can cut the cord herself.

“What do I do?’ Stacey asks her. “I want him to have an innie.”

She captioned the video: “His first little cries.

“In this episode I talk about everything from cutting the cord (Joe didn’t want to), to asking if I have a giant vagina now.”

In the next clip Joe does up the buttons on a sleepy Rex’s babygro while Stacey’s sister films.

Stacey wrote: “Going through all my videos from the day he was born and just found this that my sister took.

“My heart is hurting it feels like a lifetime ago.”

The final post was of Stacey still in labour and having gas and air while Joe holds her hands and fiddles with something on the wall.
