Stacey Solomon has opened up about her post-pregnancy body in a candid post to fans where she told how she was devastated to see her baby bump ‘shrinking by the day.’
The Loose Women star gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Joe Swash last week, with the tot arriving ‘much sooner than expected.’
Days after welcoming her third son, Stacey got emotional as she admitted to missing carrying him and said she was feeling ’empty and hollow’ without him inside her.
Taking to Instagram , Stacey shared a snap of Joe kissing her small bump as he attempted to cheer her up.

In the caption she wrote: “I’ve lost it today. I really miss my bump and baby being inside me. I don’t feel I appreciated it enough while I was pregnant and now it’s over. Joe and I didn’t have one picture of him with my bump. The thought of not having that memory has been really getting me down so today, Joe and my Dad helped me get a picture of what’s left of my bump to cheer me up. I love them so much.
“It’s not the same but it still means the world to me,” added Stacey.
29-year-old Stacey went on to say she was in no hurry to lose any of her pregnancy weight.
“For the record, for all of the people who asked me how excited I was to get my pre baby body back? Was I hoping to “snap back”? Am I going to train? Etc etc. I hate these questions. They’re pointless. And not important or relevant. No one knows how they’re going to feel and what we look like after birth is the very least of our worries.
“The truth is I’m devastated that my belly is shrinking by the day. I wish it could stay around for a little longer. I feel empty and hollow. Not to mention like I’ve been punched in the vagina,” admitted Stacey.

During her pregnancy, Stacey won huge praise for her honest portrayal of her motherhood.
She shared multiple pictures of her ‘furry bump’ and was commended for proudly embracing her stretch marks .
In the first snap with her new baby, whose name is yet to be officially announced, the TV star was also applauded by her fanbase for showing what childbirth ‘really looks like’.
The picture showed Stacey looking exhausted in her hospital bed, with her brunette hair pulled up in a messy ponytail.

The t-shirt she was wearing was pulled up to her breasts and was spattered in blood. While her newborn baby was seen lying on her chest, enjoying some skin-to-skin contact with mum.
After the picture was shared to Instagram, one of her followers said: “Massive congratulations Stacey x beautiful photo showing how it really is. Much love to you both”
“Congratulations to you all, beautiful photo,” another commented.
And one said: “Such a beautiful and real image so much love for you all”
