FANS have dubbed Stacey Solomon an “inspiration” after posing in her bikini alongside son Rex.
The star posted an adorable snap of the pair on Instagram, telling her followers that Rex had achieved his first swimming badge.
Stacey wrote: “I got my swimming badge mummy. We love watching you grow and grow, learn and get more confident in the water well done pickle we are so proud!”
Stacey’s fans were quick to congratulate Rex on his milestone – and to praise the Loose Women star on being “100% real” on social media.
One wrote: “Gorgeous woman inside and out such an inspiration to us normal mummies”.
Another added: “No posing no breathing in for the camera no photoshop just completely natural..absolutely amazing,” before thanking Stacey for “making me feel normal”.
A third commented: “Well done @staceysolomon on being 100% real”.
Stacey, who welcomed Rex with partner Joe Swash last year, prides herself in showing off her “natural” bikini body.
Earlier this year, she called for “another year of loving our bodies” as she posed in a bikini on Instagram.
Wearing a bikini and cuddling up to Rex by the pool, she wrote: “New year, same me. Because why change something that brought me the most happiness I could ever imagine.
“That brought me the smiley seven month old in the picture and the most amazing 11 year old taking it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Here’s to another year of loving our bodies no matter how hard society tries to stop us.”
Fans also love the star for being open and honest when it comes to motherhood.
Earlier this week, the mum-of-three tearfully opened up about her struggle to breastfeed baby Rex on Loose Women.
She explained: “I really wanted to breastfeed. I don’t know why, I think about that a lot. Society isn’t the same as it was 11 years ago when I had my eldest where I felt I had to because I was told to.
“Now, after having Rex, I felt like everyone was like ‘whatever works for you, do it’. It was the pressure I put on myself I struggled with.”
Stacey said she’d always imagined breastfeeding Rex throughout her pregnancy, which only made it more difficult for her to accept.
She said: “I just couldn’t do it. I really wanted to do it, and I didn’t know if I was being lazy or if I just couldn’t take the pain, and you just go over things in your mind and start thinking ‘well this is what my body was made to do.
“Obviously it’s hard, obviously it’s not easy. Why am I not just pushing through it and getting there?'”
