Stacey Solomon compared to rodent by Keith Lemon as he takes brutal swipe

Celebrity Juice presenter Keith Lemon may have taken things too far as he joked that Stacey Solomon was a “beautiful rodent” in a cringe interview.

The funnyman appeared on The One Show via a video link in a bid to promote his new programme Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft.

Things seemed to turn a tad sour after he first gave guest host Michael Ball a telling off, then later stuck the knife in, making the jibe about Stacey’s appearance.

It then became apparent that he had mistakenly told off Michael after a technical glitch had taken place.

While talking about his new show, Keith said: “I made Teen Wolf, which is fantastic from one side, but when you turn him the other way he looks like Stacey Solomon with a beard.”

Unimpressed host Alex Jones exclaimed: “You can’t say that about Stacey!”

Trying to backtrack, Keith replied: “Stacey said to me herself ‘I’ve got horse-like features’, I look like a rodent’ and I said, yes, but a beautiful rodent.”

Digging himself an even bigger hole, he added: “If I was a weasel in Wind in the Willows I’d be all over her, kissing her face.”

The awkward interview got off to bad start after Keith believed Michael had misinformed viewers about his new Channel 4 series.

Welcoming the Celebrity Juice host, Michael said: “There’s a new crafting on our TV screens and it’s fronted by an inspired choice of Keith Lemon.”

Confused by the introduction, Keith questioned if Michael had quoted the correct TV station. He said: “Did you say it’s on ITV? It’s on Channel 4.”

Unsure if he’d made a TV blunder and mouthed the wrong channel, he looked to Alex for verification, asking: “Did I?’

Alex the official adjudicator, stepped in to confirm that Michael hadn’t made an error on this occasion.

Keith then went on to blame his equipment claiming he’d struggled to hear properly on the dodgy video link.
