Stacey Solomon has been praised for her honesty on social media since welcoming her third son, baby Rex.

Inspiringly, Stacey hasn’t been afraid to show both the highs and lows of having a newborn with her fans and Friday was no exception.

Stacey admitted that she had been ‘feeling really anxious’, so decided to help squash her anxiety with a sleepover at her mum’s house. Sometimes all a gal needs is her mum, right?

Taking to Instagram, Stacey opened up to her followers and confessed: ‘Felt really anxious last night so stayed with my mummy and sister and mums doing my plaits this morning.’

Proving a night with her nearest and dearest was just the ticket, Stacey was seen smiling while cradling little Rex as her mum styled her hair for her.

She added: ‘I know I must seem like a total baby but sometimes I just need a sleepover at mums house.’

We feel you, Stacey. No judgement here.

The Loose Women star shares little Rex with her long-term boyfriend Joe Swash. He is the couple’s first child together – Stacey is already mum to sons Zachary, 11, and Leighton, seven, from previous relationships, while Joe is dad to son Harry, 12.

Stacey recently addressed her ‘alternative family set-up’ in a recent Instagram post, where she insisted her family is not a ‘broken home’ and ‘perfect’ the way it is, while revealing her eldest sons had gone off to spend time with their fathers.

Getting real honest about her home life, Stacey explained: ‘I used to really beat myself up about not being able to offer them a “normal”, “perfect” family all under one roof. Until I realised how normal, and perfect our family is for us.

‘Seeing the way they are together reminds me that it’s all ok. Families come in all shapes and sizes and what’s important is that the love is there no matter where it comes from.

‘We are not a “broken family” in any way shape or form we are an extended family. And everyone loves an extension.’

We couldn’t agree more.
