Stacey Solomon braves weekly shop for third time in over a month due to anxiety

Stacey Solomon left her house for the third time in just over a month on Friday as she admitted her anxiety is stopping her from going out.

The doting mum and Loose Women panelist, 30, has only been for a food shop twice since the lockdown was imposed seven weeks ago.

She revealed how she’s been “struggling” to leave the house due to feeling anxious, and bravely faced her fears today to for a quick supermarket run while Joe looked after the kids.

Stacey spoke candidly about the situation on Instagram, being honest and open with her followers amid the pandemic.

“I’m off to do our food shop while Joe holds down the fort here,” she said.

“I don’t know why but I’ve really struggled to leave the house and do shop runs and stuff. I’ve only done it twice since this all [lockdown] began.”

Stacey said she finds leaving her home a “struggle” and becomes really “anxious” if she has to leave.

She continued: “I get really comfortable at home in my ‘safe place’ and then feel really anxious to leave.

“But every time I do I realise how important it is to get out (if you can) and do something that you normally used to do and enjoy. So I’m going to do it today.”

The star thoughtfully added: “Thinking of those who can’t leave their homes.”
