Stacey Solomon has shared another heart-melting picture of her new baby boy, admitting she would put him back inside her tummy for another year given the chance.

Lying on a sofa next to her son’s cot, Stacey revealed they have now taken him home for the first time, writing: ‘welcome home, my love. Feeling ridiculously teary today. He’s just so teeny and precious and I want to do the very best I can by him.

‘I never thought I’d say this but If I could put him back inside my tummy for another year I would.’

Stacey later commented on the photo again after reading the lovely comments and well wishes from her followers: ‘The messages on here are just so lovely. Obviously I’ve burst in to tears reading them but I’m a good way so thank you.’

It looks like the couple are going to keep their baby’s face a secret for now, as all pictures of him have been blurred so far.

The new addition to Stacey and boyfriend Joe Swash’s family was born earlier this week and is the couple’s first baby together.

Joe has found himself a dad for the second time and celebrated the birth of his son with an emotional Instagram post documenting the first time they met.

Stacey has already treated us to a number of pictures of her bundle of joy, including adorable black and white photos of her two sons meeting their new baby brother.

Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7, gave their mum kisses as she breastfed the new baby.

Baby Swash/Solomon was born a month earlier than expected, but Stacey is wasting no time in getting back to work as she is planning to take only two weeks off from the Loose Women panel.

‘They have been really good about saying take the time that you need and they will have me back which is really amazing,’ said the former X Factor star of the ITV bosses.

‘You are so replaceable and if you’re not there then someone else is going to jump at the chance to do it. Nothing is guaranteed and we are all freelance.’
