Stacey Dooley is rumoured to be dating Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton.

And while fans speculate over their relationship, the 32-year-old has been focusing on her work as she is filming for a new documentary in America.

The queen of the dance floor was spotted taking a well deserved break from being on camera, as she was spotted heading out for lunch.

Dressed in leather look pants and a grey roll neck jumper, the star appeared to be in high spirits as she joined up with some friends for a bite to eat.

Stacey could be seen transfixed to her phone, as she seemingly walked to the venue while texting one of her friends.

Just last week, rumours started to circulate that she has embarked on a new relationship with her Strictly partner Kevin.

Her ex-boyfriend Sam Tucknott claimed she was dating the dancing pro when chatting to The Sun.

He recalled the moment he saw a text on Stacey’s phone from Kevin as they were preparing to move out of their flat.

Sam told the publication: ‘I was getting my stuff to leave. Stacey was in the loo. Her phone went and it was Kevin Clifton. I grabbed the phone and confronted her.

‘She said she’d tell me everything I needed to know.’

He went on to say that Stacey told him she didn’t start ‘entertaining’ Kevin until they had split up.

‘I did fall for him but when we were done,’ Sam claims the presenter said. He replied: ‘I don’t hate you Stacey. I hate what you’ve done.’

While both Kevin and Stacey are yet to address the rumours, the 37-year-old dancer did praise the reporter after performing at his dance show Burn The Floor in Southport.

Here he said: ‘In the last couple of years I’ve seen massive upheaval in my personal life and it hasn’t always been easy.

‘There have been a lot of things thrown at me. At times I’ve struggled. And the times I’ve struggled and I was in a bit of a rut I didn’t know what to do.

‘It gets difficult and I’m not the best at dealing with it.’

The Strictly pro added: ‘But at that point Burn The Floor stepped in again and the producers gave me a call and said, “Why don’t you come home.” So it felt right and I came home.

‘And thanks to Miss Stacey Dooley, I can finally say I’m the Strictly champion after six years of trying. It’s a miracle.’
