Stacey Dash was pictured being handcuffed during her arrest for a reported domestic battery over the weekend.
The Clueless actress was taken into police custody at her home in Pasco County, Florida on Sunday following an alleged altercation involving her husband Jeffrey Marty.
Video footage obtained by TMZ from a police officer’s bodycam shows Dash, 52, being placed in handcuffs.
However, the actress seems confused as to what’s happening and asks: ‘What are you doing? Am I being arrested?’ as the cuffs are placed around her wrists.
The officer then walks her away from the property while asking her a series of questions including her profession.
After being quizzed on what TV shows and movies she’s starred in, a tearful Dash replies: ‘I was in a film called Clueless.’
He then asks if she’s appeared in any shows recently, to which she replies that she took a break from acting to go into politics before becoming a Fox News correspondent.
According to a 911 call allegedly placed by Dash, the actress claims to have been ‘assaulted by my husband’.
Explaining the situation, Dash reportedly says that there was an argument which resulted in her ‘pushing back’ Marty’s daughter.
The Hollywood star then reportedly accuses Marty of putting her in a ‘chokehold’.
The woman reported to be Dash is also heard telling someone in the background: ‘I didn’t hit you.’
According to the publication, the actress was released from jail on Monday morning on $500 (£400) bail after being held for around 24 hours.
Police were reportedly called to a property at around 7:45pm on Sunday in response to a call about a domestic dispute between the couple.
Sources claim a physical altercation ensued between Dash and Marty, shortly before police officers arrived at the house. Marty is alleged to have had scratches on his arm.
Dash secretly married Marty on 6 April in Florida after just 10 days of dating. He is her fourth husband.
Metro.co.uk contacted the Pasco County authorities but they were unable to offer comment at the time.
