SpaceX Dragon Crew completes successful landing after history-making NASA mission

Elon Musk’s machine was returning from an unmanned mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

The craft landed in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Florida, where rescue boats rushed out to meet it.

The mission is bound to change the face of space travel for good, with NASA looking to recruit Elon Musk’s firm for taxis to the ISS.

SpaceX tweeted: “Good splashdown of Dragon confirmed!”

NASA added: “Successful splashdown of the #CrewDragon right on time at 8:45 a.m. ET.”
