Sophie Turner, 23, has played Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones since it first launched in 2011.
However, the actress has only just starred alongside Emilia Clarke, 32, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, in season eight.
Speaking about sharing a scene with her co-star in episode two of the final season, Sophie said it was “bizarre”.
In a video posted to Game of Thrones’ YouTube page, she spilled: “It was actually quite bizarre because I only see Emilia on-screen and it’s like kind of a fan moment.
“I mean, I know her in real life but as Daenerys, I only see her on-screen.”
Praising her co-star, Sophie added: “It was really fun to work with her.”
The scene saw Daenerys confront Sansa as the two have had tension since the Mother of Dragons arrived in Winterfell.
Discussing the moment, Emilia said: “It was a lioness vs lioness.
“Verbally you’ve got this sparring match happening.”
She joked: “Like that slap hurt, I’m going to take it. But I’m going to slap you back.”
Meanwhile, Sophie has reacted to a trailer teasing episode three of season eight ’s epic battle between the North and the White Walkers.
The short clip doesn’t look good for the Lady of Winterfell as it hints at a bloodbath.
Sophie responded to the video after director Miguel Sapochnik tweeted a link to the trailer and wrote: “Here we go……”
The British actress simply replied on her Twitter account: “Ohhhhhhh s**t.”
Many of her two million Twitter followers were left panicking that her reaction meant Sansa won’t survive the battle.
One person commented: “Am I gonna cry that much? Tell me no.”
“I’m not ready for next weeks episode, I am very afraid lol,” said another fan.
A third wrote: “I wish Sansa well on this battle and no hing bad happens to her. Very anxious for Sunday!”
In pictures teasing the episode, Sansa can be seen wearing armour whilst sitting in a corner.

Game of Thrones season eight, episode three airs Sunday on HBO and is simulcast to Sky Atlantic at 2am on Monday morning.
