The actress, 23, said gender is not what’s important to her in love. “Everyone experiments,” she told Rolling Stone. “It’s part of growing up. I love a soul, not a gender.” Sophie Turner also said she never thought she would be engaged to be married. “I was fully preparing myself to be single for the rest of my life,” the Game of Thrones favourite told the publication. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know.
“I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age,” she continued. “I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know.
“I’ve met enough guys to know — I’ve met enough girls to know.
“I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28,” Sophie said.
Sophie and popstar Joe, 29, started dating in 2016 and he popped the question less than a year later.
He designed the engagement ring, a stunning pear-shaped diamond, himself.
She and her beau now live with their two dogs in Manhattan and are set to marry this summer.
During a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Joe revealed some details about their plans for the big day.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said. “We’re going to have a flag rugby game at the wedding, and a flag football game.
“So if all the groomsmen show up with black eyes and broken arms, I’ll be very proud.”
Sophie’s Game of Thrones co-star and close friend Maisie Williams, 21, previously fuelled speculation she could be bridesmaid at the wedding when she was asked by Radio Times if she was “bidding for a role”.
“Oh, already got it,” she replied confidently. “Yeah, it’s very, very exciting.”
The past couple of days Sophie has been enjoying soaking up some sunshine in Miami, Florida, with her fiancé and his bandmates/brothers Nick Jonas, 26, and Kevin Jonas, 31.
Nick’s actress wife Priyanka Chopra, 36, also joined the group as they took a trip on a yacht.
Jumanji star Nick shared snaps of their day out with his 22 million followers on Instagram, uploading one picture showing them posing against the striking Miami skyline.
“Friends and rare days off on a Monday,” he captioned the upload, which showed Sophie posing dramatically on the front of the boat near Joe.
Sophie has played the Lady of Winterfell, Sansa, in Game of Thrones since the HBO fantasy drama first aired in 2011.
Game of Thrones season 8 will air on HBO in the US on April 14 and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV on April 15 at 2am & 9pm.
