Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has hit out at Alec Baldwin after his interview about the shooting on the set of Rust.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set when when a prop gun containing a live round went off. Baldwin was holding the gun.

Speaking after the shooting, Baldwin told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in his first TV interview that he ‘feels no guilt’ because ‘someone else is responsible’ for Hutchins’ death.

Sutter has since shared a photo on Instagram of a bucket labelled with the words ‘Baldwin tears’.

He wrote: ‘In case we ever have to work together…

‘I’ve refrained from commenting about the “Rust” incident. I wasn’t there, I don’t know all the facts, and I can’t image the pain and remorse the cast and crew must be feeling. Especially, Mr. Baldwin.

‘I agreed to talk to [journalist] Mike Fleming about gun safety on set, but even that was “my experience” and professional opinion; not meant as judgment [sic] of any kind.

‘But after watching just 10 minutes of that “hard hitting” choreographed dumbshow with Stephanopoulos, it’s clear that Mr. Baldwin is more concerned with his own reputation and legal entanglement than he is about set safety and the victims.

‘And because of that, I must resurrect 2007 Sutter and say, “You’re not the f**king victim, douchebag”! #safetyfirst.’

Following the shooting, Hutchins was taken to hospital but died of her injuries, with tributes pouring in over the news.

Director Joel Souza was also injured but later released from hospital.

Appearing in a sit-down interview on ABC, Baldwin detailed the moment of Hutchins’ death, insisting he didn’t pull the trigger.

The host asked: ‘You felt shock, you felt anger, you felt sadness. Do you feel guilt?’

‘No, no,’ he replied. ‘I feel that there is… Someone is responsible for what happened and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.

‘Honest to God, if I felt that I was responsible… I might have killed myself if I thought I was responsible.

‘And I don’t say that lightly.’
