Sonia Kruger will be very busy in 2021 as she fronts some of Channel Seven’s biggest reality and entertainment programs.
And now there is speculation the 55-year-old could take on another high-profile role in the network’s breakfast division.
After giving her plenty of work in prime time, Seven may wish to utilise Sonia’s talents across the schedule, reports Woman’s Day.

Sonia jumped ship from Nine to Seven in November 2019 after being offered a contract worth more than $1million per year.
‘The network has concentrated all their programming around Sonia’s signing because she’s diverse, she’s across so many programs and can successfully front anything,’ a source said.
The insider said a spot on Sunrise or The Morning Show would be ideal for Sonia, who previously hosted Today Extra alongside David Campbell on Nine.

Sunrise is hosted by Sam Armytage and David Koch, with Natalie Barr and Edwina Bartholomew taking care of news and Nelson Aspen doing showbiz.
Sonia is already confirmed to be hosting at least four prime-time shows for Channel Seven this year: Big Brother, The Voice, Holey Moley and Dancing with the Stars.
The Voice and DWTS were recently acquired from rival networks, while Big Brother is a returning franchise and Holey Moley is an entirely new format.
Back to The Voice: Seven have only recently acquired The Voice (formerly Nine) and DWTS (formerly 10) from other networks for 2021. Sonia was previously The Voice host on Nine

In October, the network revealed Sonia would no longer serve as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent: Challengers & Champions.
Seven’s director of programming, Andrew Backwell, told TV Tonight: ‘Sonia is on some of our biggest shows, we don’t need her on AGT too.’
