Software group appoints commercial director as part of £1.5 million expansion plans



Specialist software business Turnkey Group has appointed a new commercial director as part of £1.5 million expansion plans.

Deborah Baxter who joins the East Kilbride-based business from Big Four accountant KPMG will focus on Turnkey’s insolvency software IPS.

Baxter, who was working on a digital transformation agenda across all aspects of KPMG’s Restructuring practice, brings 20 year experience to the role.

Her arrival follows the appointment a year ago of Kenny Doole as commercial director for Turnkey Business Software.

The business software part of the business offers financial and enterprise resource planning software.

Turney managing director Tony Wood said: “We are delighted to have both Deborah and Kenny join the leadership of our business as we embark on a significant transformation of both our insolvency software business and SME software business.

“Both bring a wealth of skills and experience in dealing with customers in their respective sectors and plan to drive significant change as we expand and develop our services and products.

“As a business we are investing in our product suite, increasing staff and extending and enhancing our office premises to accommodate our exciting business growth plans.”

Baxter said: “The opportunity to drive a wider digital agenda into the insolvency market is really exciting, particularly helping our customers understand how they can embrace this new platform and all that comes with it.”
