Sobbing dog owner reunites with his lost pet Blue after 200 long days apart

A sobbing dog owner was pictured being reunited with his lost pet Blue after spending 200 days apart.

The Washington County Animal Shelter in Tennessee has posted a video of a heart-warming moment between the owner, Pat, and his beloved pitbull dog.

The video shows Blue jumping all over Pat, while wagging his tail and licking the man all over.

‘That’s my boy,’ Pat said in the video. ‘I missed you so much.’

Pat sits on the ground of the shelter and stares into Blue’s eyes for a moment, awestruck at seeing his dog again.

‘God he looks great,’ Pat said. ‘Thanks for taking such good care of him.’

Blue went missing about six months ago, but Pat never stopped searching for his dog.

‘He thought he’d never see Blue again,’ the shelter said.

Pat had to move to Texas for work, but a friend of his sent him a video of dog at the shelter, which just so happened to be Blue.

The shelter said that Pat drove 1,200 miles from Texas to Tennesse to find his missing dog.

‘We don’t have many happy endings like this one,’ the shelter said. ‘There were some tears, tons of doggie kisses and lots of smiles.’

The shelter added that the reunion between Pat and Blue is the reason why they ‘never give up.’
