A MUM has thanked Snow White for stepping in to comfort her six-year-old autistic son when he began to have a “meltdown” at Disney World.
The woman, called Lauren, praised the staff member, who was dressed as the character from the fairy tale, for being a “pure angel” and giving her little boy a hug.

In a post shared to Facebook, the grateful parent – from the US state of New Jersey – explained how her non-verbal son Brody started having an “autism meltdown” while waiting to have a picture with Snow White at the Epcot theme park in Orlando, Florida.
She wrote: “I am so emotional with these pictures!! Brody was having a meltdown.
“It was our turn to take pictures with her and he wanted nothing to do with it!
“Snow White could tell Brody had special needs! She took him for a walk and got him time away from the crowd!! This is true magic!!”

Lauren – who was also there with husband Bill, and sons Billy, 14, and nine-year-old Jake – also shared images of the actress embracing her son, and letting him rest on her lap before leading him away to a quieter spot.
His mum now wants to get in touch with the staff member to personally thank her, and she also shared the email she sent to Disney.
Of how the crowds on hot weather had triggered his “meltdown” after a day of going on rides, she added: “He was crying and was overwhelmed and just having a hard time.

“Snow White was amazing with him!! She kissed, hugged and cuddled him.
“He was laying his head crying on her lap. She then took him for a walk away from the crowd!”
The mum explained: “She was amazing. She held his hand, danced with him, took him over to a bench and sat with him.
“She went above and beyond!! She took so much time with him. She was a pure angel! She was magical and my family is forever thankful and touched!”
