Sky broadband down leaving hundreds of customers without access to internet

SKY broadband is down this morning with some customers unable to access their internet.

At around 9am, outage tracker Downdetector said it had picked up 1,200 complaints from Sky customers.

Sky said it’s aware of the issue and is working on fixing the problem, but it couldn’t tell us exactly how many customers are being affected.

A map on Downdetector appears the show the majority of the issues are centred in the south of the UK, although Sky couldn’t confirm this.

Sky said: “We are aware of an issue with Sky Broadband.

“Our teams are investigating, and we aim to have the service restored as soon as possible.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing and will update when we can.”
