When it comes to Christmas with kids, you’ve gotta make it a special day for them, not matter how cool you are.

Which leads us to grime legend Skepta dressing up as a Teletubby for his one-year-old daughter.

Skepta has largely kept his daughter River off social media, but shared an adorable picture of the tot on Christmas Day, which showed the lengths he’ll go to to make her happy.

The 37-year-old, real name Joseph Adenuga Jr, posted two pictures that were equal parts hilarious and sweet, as he sat next to his daughter dressed as the yellow Teletubby, Laa-Laa.

In one photo, River – dressed in a woollen jumper and cords – gave her dad a suspicious look from beside him, although in the next, she seemed to trust the Teletubby as she climbed on top of him.

The Shutdown rapper captioned the pic: ‘EVERYTHING 4 U’, and fans congratulated him on his gorgeous daughter.

Wizkid left a heart emoji while AJ Tracey wrote: ‘Legend. have a good day king.’

In July 2018, the Mercury Award winner confirmed he was about to become a father for the first time, although he didn’t reveal the identity of the mother.

In December, River was born, and in an interview with his sister Julie Adenuga on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Skepta revealed he initially kept the news to himself after experiencing two miscarriages with his partner.

He said: ‘It was mad because we were in the studio and obviously he [his brother, JME] knew that… I spoke about [miscarriages] in my music and stuff, and I think – not even in my music – in interviews before, about miscarriages and how I was feeling at a certain point that maybe this is not meant for me, am I not supposed to have a kid, after the second one.

‘So on the third one I didn’t tell no one for a time until it got to a time when I could tell.

‘So we were in the studio and Jamie was leaving, so I’m like, “Oi Jamie, come let me chat to you.” I’m like, “yute, man, I’m having a yute, bruv. Actually having a baby, bruv, this time.”’
