She has been taking no chances with the coronavirus, always making sure that she wears a mask while out and about.

And Sinitta continued to be careful when she stepped out in London to take her cute red toy poodle Scarlett O’Hara for a walk on Wednesday.

The singer, 56, protected herself from the ongoing pandemic by wearing a colourful face mask that had a filtration system so she could breathe normally.

Sinitta made sure to protect her pet pooch from the coronavirus too, as she was also wearing a small mask.

The singer wrapped up against the cold by wearing a grey onesie that were tucked into a pair of black studded boots that were laced up tightly.

She added to the look by wearings a dark blue longline jacket, and she covered her raven tresses in a black baseball cap.

Completing her ensemble, Sinitta kept her personal items in a quilted handbag while she made sure her accessories were minimal.

The UK’s coronavirus death toll has today jumped to 10 after health chiefs announced 134 more patients had been infected in Britain’s biggest daily increase yet – taking the infection toll to almost 600.

NHS officials revealed both patients who died had underlying conditions. One was a woman in her sixties and was in hospital in Essex, the other was an 89-year-old who passed away in London.

The huge leap in the number of patients struck down by the life-threatening illness means the UK’s outbreak is now 40 times bigger than it was a fortnight ago – when warnings of a crisis were first peddled after health officials admitted the infection was spreading on British soil.

Sinitta’s outing came after she opened up up on the ‘jealousy’ she used to feel when she dated Simon Cowell over the course of their 20-year, on/off relationship.

Discussing her relationship with the music mogul, who has now settled down with girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their five-year-old son Eric, Sinitta claimed she was ‘friend-zoned.

She told Metro: ‘I used to suffer with jealousy sometimes, which is why Simon and I would always break up.

‘But once you transition into the friend zone, there’s nothing to argue about or get upset about anymore.’
